A spontaneous sleep over turned spontaneous beach trip with my best friend. We literally woke up at 10am and decided to go to the beach for the day! It was the best way to end the first month of the year.

You can never go wrong with black. Everyone knows it, and everyone stands by it! So on days when I don't exactly know what I want to wear, I always go for a black ensemble. Keep that in mind the next time you're stuck in a I-have-nothing-to-wear dilemma.

So here it is, my first post of the year! Two days ago about 34 of us went to Enchanted Kingdom and I'm not even joking, it was probably one of the most memorable 'EK' trips I haver ever had in my life. Can you imagine a group of 34 people walking around, taking over a whole ride, screaming, dancing, and just having a blast? 

Because I knew what I was up for, I decided to dress as comfortably as possible. Thank God I did because at one point we waited an hour and a half to get on a ride. Pulled out one of my favorite muscle tees, a comfortable pair of shorts, cute sunnies, and my fave Deena & Ozzy floral creepers and I was ready!

I have always been obsessed with old Hollywood and how the women of that time always looked so effortlessly glamorous and chic no matter what they had on. It was like they all had a certain level of confidence that women today no longer really have. Reading in to it I learned that a lot of them got their confidence from finding just the right outfit, hat, or pair of heels to wear. I never fully believed in that until I saw and put on this dress. The color, the long sleeves, the slit, everything about it was just screaming "WEAR ME!" And so I did.

By the way, I set my camera on timer and left it on a trash bin to take these photos. Thank God they turned out okay!

I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but I've recently been leaning towards my girly side when picking out an outfit. Here's a little something I put together for the SM Parisian fashion show. I have always loved this skirt, but I never really got use it because I kept pushing it to the back of my closet, saving it for the appropriate event. However, when I got the invite to watch my cousin walk the ramp for Parisian, I knew it was the perfect choice. I paired it with a black turtle neck halter top, patterned purse, and a simple ring to keep it balanced.

As for the show, both the shoes and the bags are to die for! I bought a few pairs from Parisian before but the styles now are so chic and so my style! Definitely going to make a few stops in SM soon! x
