Back when I was in the 5th or 6th grade I remember going to Fort Santiago around four times in one year! I went a couple of times with my cousins and then again on class trips. At that time all I really appreciated was the scenery and the fact that we were spending time outside the classroom. Typical. 

In my last post I talked about the day a friend and I decided to explore Intramuros and I appreciated it much more this time around. I gotta admit, I wasn't exactly perfectly dressed for walking around that area, but we enjoyed taking photos anyway, and reading about Jose Rizal's life and legacy.
