Switzerland

Stop number 2. Preparing for Europe, I was told that the weather wasn’t going to be that bad. Baguio weather they said, and they couldn’t have been more wrong. I was freezing! I didn’t exactly bring the right type of clothes because when I was packing, everyone was saying “Oh it’s not going to be that cold” or “No don’t bring those boots, it’s spring”. Walking to the airport parking lot, I had flashbacks of all the clothes I could have but did not bring!

We flew from Dublin to Geneva at around 6am Saturday morning, and then from there took our promoter’s gorgeous van all the way to Zurich. Saturday night was dad’s show, which was amazing as always. And on Sunday we were all finally able to rest. I’m not even joking, I only left my bed for breakfast, lunch, and bathroom breaks and of course dinner.

In Lucerne/Luzern.

Dublin

As expected, my body clock is officially messed up. I guess it's okay though because with Labor Day weekend coming up, who knows when I'm actually going to be able to get on the computer again. Oh, Dublin. I think the reason why I haven’t gotten over Dublin is because it was the city we spent the least time in. We got there on Thursday, the show was on Friday, and we left Saturday morning for Switzerland. I was able to go around a little bit on Friday before the show but it definitely wasn’t enough. Driving around, I fell in love with the small vintage boutiques, the street art, and the architecture in the city. I really do feel terrible that we weren’t really able to explore but I’m excited because that just means we have to go back someday soon!

Looking extra faded after getting off the nearly 24-hour trip from Manila to Dublin.

Deadbeat Summer

Two-year course. It sounds so lovely 'til it stabs you in the back. I don't mean to start this post on a sour note, I just can't stand the fact that I don't get to enjoy summer vacation this year. I've been telling myself it's okay since I'll be preparing to finish by this time next year, but I love summer too much. It would be a lie if I said it isn't one of, if not my favorite season of the year.

A day before holy week completely ended and took our break with it, Kc and I decided we wanted to do something different. We wanted to somehow escape from our loving boyfriends, have some 'girls only' time, and release our inner modeling skills... Of course halfway through our little shoot I realized that I cannot pose in front of a camera to save my life.. unless I'm smiling. I am not joking, all my serious poses were candid or planned out very well. Now I know. There goes my modeling career! It was super fun though. Sadly, I don't have all the photos, but here are a few of my favorites (the only ones I think I look good in lol).

Thanks Tricia for taking the photos. I looove you!
Oh and the lighting we used was from a projector at Kc's place. Genius.

Surf's Up

Before the dreaded goodbyes to those who live abroad, my cousins and I decided it would be a great idea to head to La Union. You know, roadtrip, waves, a few beers, and family time. It was definitely one of the best beach trips of my life.

Wedding Bells!

What better way to start the New Year than with a wedding? Not just any wedding at that, but my older brother’s wedding! I can’t even put into words how genuinely happy I am for the newlyweds. Finally, after nearly seven years, Sam is officially a part of our family. Not that she never was, we all grew up together. For those who don’t know, the Godinez-Valenciano tribe goes way back. Our parents have been friends for over twenty-five years causing us kids to start hanging out at a very young age. It was inevitable!
